In partnership with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of Education, CFC established the International School of Applied Sciences in Qena to provide vocational training and enhance workforce skills.
CFC Fertilizers and Chemicals has successfully established the CFC International School for Applied Technology in Qena, Egypt, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and USAID. This school is part of CFC’s broader commitment to community engagement and corporate social responsibility (CSR), aimed at empowering the local community through education and skill development.
The CFC International School for Applied Technology was established to provide high-quality vocational and technical training to students in the region, particularly focusing on heavy industry operations and maintenance. The school is designed to prepare students with the practical skills required for modern industrial and technological environments, thus contributing to Egypt’s broader educational and economic goals.
Through this project, CFC plays a key role in driving educational transformation in Qena, creating new opportunities for youth, and supporting the development of a skilled workforce for the future. The collaboration also reflects the company’s commitment to fostering public-private partnerships that contribute to the region’s sustainable development.
This CSR initiative reflects CFC’s commitment to not only business growth but also to contributing positively to the local community’s socio-economic development. It aligns with CFC’s broader strategy of creating sustainable, long-term value through education, job creation, and skill development, which ultimately supports both the regional and national economy.
