The project CFC Fertilizers and Chemicals is strategically expanding its global footprint with the establishment of a state-of-the-art industrial complex in the Free Zone area of El Hew Qena, Egypt. This $1 billion project is a significant milestone for the company, as it aims to produce high-quality phosphate and potassium-based fertilizers, animal feed, and chemicals. The industrial complex is poised to become a key hub for the production of diversified products, with an expected output of around 2.5 million tons annually, further strengthening CFC’s position in the international market. The complex is set to be a beacon of innovation, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and high-profile technical expertise to ensure the production of superior-quality products. By integrating advanced processes and systems, CFC aims to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and product performance, meeting the growing demands of the agricultural and chemical sectors.

In addition to boosting production, the project will contribute significantly to the local economy by generating approximately 4,000 direct and indirect jobs. This includes a broad spectrum of employment opportunities within the labor force, ranging from skilled technical positions to support roles in logistics, management, and production. PROJECT LOCATION

Strategic Placement The proposed industrial complex will be located on a 370,000 m² plot in the El Hew Industrial Area, Qena, Egypt. The site offers:

  • Accessibility: Seamless connection to public roads, electricity, city water, and natural gas.
  • Proximity to Resources: Near phosphate mines and Safaga Port, enabling efficient logistics.
  • Golden License Advantage: Granted by GAFI (General Authority for Investment and Free Zones), simplifying approval processes and offering streamlined investment privileges.
  • Infrastructure Readiness: The site is fully equipped with facilities to support large-scale industrial operations.
